They are decorated with demonic symbols and the largest (3 slots) also has an arrow to indicate the direction of actions when necessary. Character name tags make it easy to identify which player each character token corresponds to. They have soft felt on the back to hold well and not slip into the Grimoire. To silently communicate with players during the night, the Storyteller can use the acrylic board: ask them if they use their abilities, which player they choose, write the phrase Yaggababble or the word Mezepheles, create an original Amnesia ability, etc. Name tags and board can be written and erased using a dry erase marker (not included).
